It looks like Sunpower has significantly improved both the website their Apps              Nice job

We have had the system for two years and the savings are amazing The app is easy access and the data provided gives an accurate read of the information needed Perfect                 Great System

I like the new app but wish the daily total kwhs used a decimal                 Works for me

I also dont like the latest update Whats going on with this weird white background halo effect Lots of wasted white space on the screen All the information from the various screens could be placed on just one No longer able to swipe the bar graph to go from day to day        Previous version was better

When friends and neighbors asked about our PVS I used to haul out the smartphone touch the icon and brag on the company as the data popped up Today it requires repeated logon attempts and more often than not tells me to try again later While the new display may be slightly nicer the obstructed access means that I wont be demonstrating it to potential customers anytime soon        Sunpowers loss

The new app is horrible Most of the time the app will not load properly and I cant see my production numbers Definitely a step backwards from the old app     Horrible

Please give us the option of staying logged in It is a huge pain to do it every time And why is the app so slow           Its getting better but

App on my iPhone 4 and older model iPad mini shows minimal information and does not show energy consumption or percent of energy from solar The same app on my iPhone 5 is much better It shows total energy usagetotal from solar and total from grid Also shows estimated savings as well as amount of total energy supplied by he solar system Dont know why the same app works so differently Same version of operating system two stars for the app on older system and four stars on better        App works differently on different devices

Earlier version was much easier to read This version is very challenging I believe that the developer was using a massive monitor with the brightness turned up while creating this new version Trying to make it look so cute while gutting the ability to read the important information that we all want At this point I wouldnt mind a grid of black text and white background period If this app remains the same I will be forced to buy the larger iPhone that should be out soon     Bad choice of fonts colors with background colors

The app doesnt load any more even after reloading and on my other iOS devices A previous version that let you see the environmental impact was much nicer I prefer a black background like the original app had also I attempted to send this message to Sunpower and got a canned response saying they dont serve my areawhat I have there solar panels I know it will get fixed but I use this app to show friendspotential customers all the benefits Fix it soon     Broken App

Demo mode in new version Where is it It was mentioned in the update script              Very handy and informative

Some people exaggerate but this app is genuinely useless Cant even log in Can enter email but when I click on the password box the app moves their Demo tab over the box so that I cannot fill in a password     No really totally useless

The old app and web version needed improvementsstill waiting If fact now they are worse     Whoops

They didnt do everything they could making this app It should have more optionsalmost seems like they made because they had to have an app but didnt want to spend the time and money to make it great Yawn     Seems half assed

The latest update make tho app unusable Every few days when I open it up all I get is the spinning circle in the middle Logging out is of no help Only thing that works is deleting the app and reinstalling Totally unacceptable     Zero Steps Forward Sprinting Backwards

Very disappointed with this update Doesnt give me the exact daily production Doesnt update hourly or accurately I wouldnt have updated my old app if I knew this one was going to be this bad VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH SUNPOWER     Terrible update

I have been using the app for about a 3 months and so far its been outstanding I am running iOS 8 on my iPhone 5 with no issues Everything updates and I have access to calendar views portrait and landscape views and daily total power usage breakdown solar vs the grid One of the better thought out apps I have on my phone                 Fantastic

The lack of ondevice storage of at least a months worth of data the tendency of the app to delete stores login credentials at a whim the backwards spinning UIProgressView and the general overuse of UIWebView makes this app look like it has no priority at Sunpower Open up your api and let developers build something awesome not this soso app Now this app is totally worthless It will not connect to the Sunpower service     Functional but seriously lacking updated

So since this new version was released the UI is much cleaner and nicer to look at HOWEVER 80 of the time the data never loads And even worst is the requirement to log in EVERY time Why did you do away with cached credentials This is a read only app What are you trying to protect I am very disappointed that a 5 star app was reduced to completely unusable most of the time Please address this soon I spent a lot of money based upon the original app and this new app makes me want to request a refund        New version new review

Please add a refresh button and a full screen graph mode with zoom                 Love it

It is really helpful to monitor your system and know where you should be vs DWP But the displays are a little hard to read Also they could give you more data              Really like this but could be more

The consumption part does not report properly It adds our usage and solar output so we never produce more than we use Better off using the SDGE app four total usage Sadly Smart Solar Energy Who installed our system cant even fix it Guess we didnt get our moneys worth out of this one     Does not work

Several months ago my iPhone asked for my password and user name to be reentered on the Sunpower app I can enter user name but not my password When I click on password field the word DEMO shows up and does not allow any password entry This plague struck my iPhone first About two to three months later it struck my mini iPad Now I cannot even logon So basically the app is useless     iPhone iPad does not allow password entry

HARD TO READ NO DAYLIGHT HOURS given anymore makes this an update that is a step backwards instead of forward An Example of just because its newupdated doesnt make it better Please get this designed so its much easier to read the information bring back the total daylight hours for each day     Not a Good Redesign

It is unbelievable how awful this app is I have to log in all the time Its amazing how updates to the app usually make the experience worse     Omg who actually wrote this program

The data refresh rate is so poor it renders app useless Wast of time Dont bother     Poor data

The new update is horrible Half the time it doesnt load and the other half takes too long Just sits there like its trying but after a min I just close the thing Frustrating     New version is sloooow

Two things 1 logging in every time is a waste Is my energy data so valuable that I need to log in every time Makes it a pain 2 the data is messed up on the app Since this latest release my data for energy used is the exact same as energy generated even when Im out of town and very little energy consumed Ive had my installer out to check everything but all is hooked up correctly He can log into his master acct and see correct usage data Sunpower just isnt using that data for this app We have called sunpower and they cant seem to fix it This makes the app unusable     New version is unusable

Working good now but still dont see household usage           Like it

I finally became so frustrated with this app that I called Sunpower to complain a second time and I am writing a review as well Like countless other people have already stated the new fonts are difficult to see and the light color on the light background make what was an otherwise good app crap I have stopped using it as it took away vital information such as the hours of sunlight and is an difficult excercise for my eyes to see Please listen to your users developer and change it back     Developer do you listen to the users

The new update stinks Bring back the old fluffy stuff like miles not driven or trees planted     Turn back the clock

The newly released version is a step backwards in terms of usability You now have to hunt down data points that were once on the main screen and important numbers like how much power youve generated in total had been much more prominent Also on the very first day of using the app I see a gap a missing hour in the data graph That had never happened in the previous two versions I hope Im not the only one that complains so that they might go back to the older UI UPDATE My first post was shortly after the update was installed At that point I thought they had just reduced the usability However after having the app for more than a week I can report that the issues are FAR more serious As others have reported the app fails to load any data now about 80 of the time When it does load it is incredibly slow I used to enjoy checking my solar production throughout the day and showing it off to friends and colleagues Now the app is completely unusable and embarrassing It is also a really bad marketing tool for SunPower Please bring back the previous version until you test and fix this version     Latest UI a step backwards in usability

Used to work for SunPower so Im probably biased but I recently bought a house with a SP system on the roof in the Phoenix AZ Metro Area Major selling point for me The system is great and this app lets you know exactly what the system is doing Great app great system great company                 Great App Great Company

I never write reviews but I am because I use this daily I hope the developers see our reviews and revert back a bit I hate the new update to say the least Leave the color scheme how it was I dont like the green The percentage view was the most used option for me and now its been replaced with kWh which we already had Now that the update came through my savings meter isnt accurate either I hope yall fix it I wont continue to use it the way it is           New Update

App is decent on iPhone and great on iPad iPhone requires frequent reinstalls when connection to sunpower keeps hanging Hangs even after log off and relogin Tech support advises reinstalling app which I have to do every 3 days or so No issues on iPad I like the layout much better on iPad shows more info in dashboard Plea to sunpower fix login issues        I have to reinstall every couple of days

Seriously What kind of testDev cycles do you guys run against your apps before you push them out Sunpower is doing too many good things with solar to have such a poor performing app which only reflects negatively on the entire company Please speed up the app     Cmon guys

I feel the latest release is much improved There are still some features missing such as alerts via notification center alerts via email requesting reports now have to go on website downloading data now have to go on website feedback now have to go on website           Much better

Was not expecting much with all the recent bad reviews but we just got solar turned on and I wanted to try the app It works greatrefreshes data up to the most recent hour No logout issues Great summary and detail views Havent tried alerts yet              V 31 works great

The reviewers talked and SunPower listened While Im still on the fence as if this version is better than the preversion 30 builds version 31 is a huge upgrade over version 30 You can now easily and quickly see how your system performed each day over a week how it is doing perhour and the current status of the system The font sizes are improved and are easier to read Overall the new update makes it a lot easier to find the information that Im most interested Thanks SunPower Update I knocked my rating down to just 3 stars because you constantly have to relogin Credentials dont seem to saved across sessions anymore With an app like this 95 of the time I just want to pull it up and see my daily solar production I cant do that anymore without going through the hassle of logging in first           New Update is a Big Improvement

Not only is it slow but the information about CO2 saved etc seems to be missing     Performs poorly

The iPad version of the Sunpower app is useless It includes only very crude graphic information without any data on KWH usage versus production Its hard to fathom why the iPad version is so bad especially given the iPads larger screen and ability to display more detailed and useful information Get your act together Sunpower App programmers     iPhone app makes sense why not fix ipad app
