With both WiFi on and cellular data this app still refuses to connect to the Internet Rebooted both IOS devices same thing So it s pretty much useless     Does not work no internet connectivity CommENG

Other than finding the nearest beach it gives a three color system for water pollution which is up to date It also gives historical information but I m deleting it because I d like water air conditions such as temp wind etc this app is best for reading about beach history but thats about the only thing I can see over other beach apps             Find the nearest beach numale

This app is great for learning more about your local swim beaches I always check my favorite sites before heading to the river to see if the beaches are safe for swimming I use it when I am traveling too It makes it really easy to find a great spot to cool off in the water I love all the pictures                     Super helpful River swimmer 2xR

I have been using this app since it launched in 2011 and each version gets better and better version 2 20 s new features are brilliant and the corresponding website just received a facelift I see This is the app I always use to keep me and my family informed about the state of my local water bodies and favourite beaches I feel better knowing that my family is swimming in safe waters and whenever I leave Vancouver and travel to Florida New York or California I use it regularly to check in on the state of the local waters I visit Tremendous value                     Fabulous EcoLawyer

This app was constantly crashing to the point that I could never even use it No matter how my times I reinstalled or restarted my phone it still would not start up It kept saying there was an Internet connection problem when I was at home with my house wifi working Sad I was looking forward to using it too     Not what I expected angldark2525

Besides crashing most every time I use it this app really offers very little Sure it will list the beaches close to your location and provide a brief general comment about the beach however there is actually very little info that is particularly helpful to a swimmer No water temps no tides presence of rocks or rips no clue as to safety for Swimming Other than a somewhat current clue as to water quality with no details except clean or not clean nothing that is helpful in determining whether one should jump in and swim I checked it using my local area and if a visitor used this as a guide they could possibly end up swimming in some beaches that are dangerous or ill advised for even an experienced swimmer There is nothing in the guide to advise which beaches require a more experienced swimmer One other sour note some of the beaches they list are really just locations on the coast or on water not what is generally considered a beach         Pretty weak FreddeCat

This is probably a good app if your local beaches are included but the entire New Jersey shore is missing as well as Rhode Island and other major beach areas on the east coast             Many beaches not included ZachE48

Use it every time I am planning a trip to the beach The Swim Guid is constantly adding locations and how else would you know if the water quality was bad on a particular day before you ventured out to the beach call the department of water Good luck with that So much easier to use this app that gives you up to the minute data on the location your looking for Highly recommend having on your phone at all times                     Love this APP Why Swim In Dirty Water johnhoving

it would be on great benefit to have the historical water quality data linked to he Hudson River sampling locations beaches This way the app would actually have a value for those of us who actually swim in the Hudson Without the water quality data and all areas being labled gray status the app isn t much more than a list of areas that you can t decide whether to swim or not             Hudson River Water Quality Data Billjeff01

I live on Cape Cod MA 7 mi wide surrounded by beaches The nearest beach this app came up with was in Marshfield near Boston 37 miles away My iPhone 4 has no internal issues yes my location is on Don t waste your time     Terrible 2Roz

This is a sweet app for getting your beach on My favorite part is just that it shows you all the beaches near you so you can try a new spot And a huge part of choosing a spot is which ones are the cleanest Since water quality is a big deal with surfers and fishermen this app will come in very handy Definitely check it out                     Nice discovery tool aeiopossum

This is a handy little simple to use app to quickly check the conditions of your local beach or one you plan to be going to on vacation It provides specific information on the water quality based on the most up to date data available and then feeds it right to your phone Water pollution affects most water bodies around the country especially after major storms and discharges This was a great idea and I commend the Waterkeeper organization for developing this program and for the critical work they do protecting this countries and the worlds waterways They truly are the voice of the worlds waters                     What a great tool to have hoving
