Sword & Poker 2(WW)

This is by far one of my favorite apps and well worth the high price tag Its long incredibly deep has amazing and unique gameplay and supports features like instantly saving your progress when you hit the home button as well as iTunes Get this game                 Worth every penny

Sword Poker 2 is a fun game It incorporates rpg elements really well I like the berserk spell that I based my reviews title upon because it lets you do more damage for each spade you have in your hand I also like being able to hit enemies hard with a full house and the weapon system where axes can have stronger damage doing things like flushes and straights but swords can do more with 4 of a kind There are also status anomalies as well and you can even steal cards The only problem with this game is that when forging a hand it can favor whoever goes last by merely passing when the board is almost full Then the person who goes last can fill the board making multiple hands for extra damage Lastly you cant directly make hands on the edges of the 5 x 5 card grid In other words if an edge has 3 cards you cant place your 2 cards there they must pass through the starting 3 x 3 part of the grid The game basically has you make hands by playing 2 cards so that feels a little bit off since technically you made a hand but it wont work until you fill out the rest of the board to make it count as 2 hands one through the 3 x 3 grid and one outside of it I am just glad this is back on the app store and it can really immerse me in its own unique world Even though the difficulty can spike at times the game can be fun Id rate it higher if I could just redo a battle instead of the whole floor if I lose because sometimes you just get unlucky This is especially the case in the last 2 dungeons where enemies can get a lot harder before you can afford stronger weapons and a bad hand can mean an auto loss           Get Enemies Back In Spades Until The Difficulty Spikes

I played this game endlessly when it first came out and recently rediscovered it the game is a fun twist on the usual card games adding a creative and challenging dimension to it with monsters and weapons I really hope the developers design an iPad version that takes full advantage of the screen size that would be a welcome update                 Please update for iPad I love this game

Fun game very addicting Not worth four bucks though Maybe I just have bad luck but in the last row or two per round I never get any cards I need while opponent does There are other ways to make the game challenging besides holding out cards from you and giving them to who your facing              Fun but not 4 fun

Hours of entertainment Enjoyed both 1 2 only downfall was it wasnt long enough Cant wait for the next one So please come out with some updates or a part 3 just something                 Fun and entertaining

Not much of an rpg Boring story line with no motivation or interaction All you do is create poker hands but for what reason Its just fight after fight but I dont know why Im doing it Linear and boring Battle system is okay but give me a reason to fight As of April 2011 no attempt to implement the numerous suggestions or address complaints Now one star It is now almost 2013 with no attempt to update game or graphics FU     Bleh

One of the best games out there Hope they are going to put out the third in the series                 When is sword and poker 3 coming out

Bought this about a year ago and Ill have to say it is my favorite app on my phone Fifth time playing through it Its streamlined clean and addictive Gaia needs to be commended for creating a unique refreshing game that has IMO evolved the tried and true JRPG formula A sequel needs to be made                 Love this game

Sword Poker 2 is really a fun little game Quite addictive to be honest I like card games but I dont really play poker to be honest and I wanted to learn how Theres differences Im sure but Im now familiar with the basics and it was all wrapped up in a fun RPG fashion Its a dungeoncrawler and its awesome Normally dont like those but the battle system is just very entertaining Give it a shot its worth the few dollars for the entertainment value it provides                 Its fun and its different And you should be happy about that

Game is poorly balanced several aggravating issues with the interface when you die you lose an hour of progress Fun concept but too many issues to recommend        Too many gameplay issues to recommend

One of my fav games Love it But the final battle is stupid hard Only thing keeping from 5 stars Update considering all the junk in the AppStore these days and everybody having inapp purchases to play a game youve already paid for I give this 5 stars for paying for the app and getting everything up front and its a great game Its sad because every app should give u a full game upon purchase but they dont And thats how much I hate games that do that Your other 2 stars have been restored                 Great

Eh The music gets a little annoying and the graphics are not exactly taking advantage of the iPad processor Its a five star onedollar app but only a two star fivedollar app        Graphics by The Cheat

Im excited to play but dampened a bit by loss of saved game So I bought the full version 4 is way too much but couldnt help myself and I want to transfer saved character from trial version Can I                 Yay

its an interesting adaptation of poker and is a good pick up and play game                 fun way to play poker

theres a few things that could be better the chance of enemies getting what they want is HIGH and can be extremely frustrating Second there should be a little more money rewards for we dont want to play over and over on the same floor just to earn more money for weapons and shields and bags they also shouldve redone the whole monster graphics its not like theyre hard to draw so why reuse them for the second sequel same with character design first was a male and now its a female couldve been much better artwork of the main character 3 out of 5 they NEVER update this game EVER so dont expect any upgrades           first one BETTER

Fantastic little game Easy to grasp pokerstyle mechanic with lots of fun twists to keep it from getting repetitive as you play I thought this would just be a little timekiller to keep on the phone but I find myself playing just for fun Completely charming                 Perfect phone game

A nice little adventure game with RPG ELEMENTS for the tards complaining that it isnt much of an RPG Maybe because its not supposed to be Anyway seamlessly integrates poker hands into combat and the little spells you can use heighten the experience I remember downloading the lite version ages ago and after playing it a few times through NEEDING the full version If youre a fan of RPG elements like leveling up and collecting equipment or are a fan of poker this game is for you                 Fantastic

The best game on the iPhone its as simple as that I just finished it and got all the extras now I cant wait for the third game Its simple to play yet it is still challenging and can be a bit frustrating you know in a good way Worth the money This is also not like other games where you have to pay more money to get the extra cool stuff once you pay you have a solid game that will entertain for hours                 Get this game

I absolutely loved the first Sword Poker It struck that perfect balance between creativity and familiarity RPG and puzzle This sequel is really almost more an expansion pack than anything The gameplay spells and even enemies are almost all the same The main difference is giving separate dungeons to work through Usually after beating a game Ill avoid the sequel for a while to play other stuff I waited about 6 months between SP1 and this and it was the perfect hiatus Now like the original I cant stop playing this Seriously every spare 5 minutes I have Im trying to battle another monster to get one step closer to completion And Im a guy with over 300 apps and 2000 video games overall The fact that this keeps my interest puts it in an upper echelon of iPhone games along with Game Dev Story Robot Unicorn Attack and PathPix                 Back for another Poker

This is a really fun little game I remember playing a flash game with the same poker grid They take that idea and run with it in a natural way The graphics are polished the game play was well thought out The only complaint I have is that there is not a lot of replay value Once you complete it you just could go through and complete it again No fantastic easter egg type unlocks Still that is just a small complaint It is a great game Not much replay value in this game though but at 99 cents it would be well worth downloading At 399 it is a little overpriced              I hope they make a part 3

Its a really fun game but the card deals are ALWAYS in the favor of the computer ALWAYS They will always get the last card they need its not even a coincedence Its ridiculous but the game is fun I doubt the creaters care but i hope they do enough to fix it Fun game tho           Fun but
