Changes were made to this app 1 99 subscription is required A crucial timer that showed the light pattern is now gone making it impossible to align The biggest issue is that if you don t have the app open during the movie it shuts down and doesn t run like it did in the past I understand updating it because this app was in desperate need of an update but making it worse and then charging your original users is a slap in the face     Developers thought changes were needed hockeyhobo

This used to be the best app on the App Store for Hue Lights Then they updated it I don t even care about the new 1 99 yearly subscription and you shouldn t either I would even happily pay 12 year for this app if it ran properly What I do care about is the fact that I have to keep my phone screen on during the ENTIRE MOVIE now killing battery life I also don t like the new timer system The old timer used to show you the exact second that the lights would change into their new color now the timer just runs straight through the movie making it more difficult to align with the movie In my opinion the only good thing about the new update is the search bar which makes it very easy to browse through all the options they have With that said take the app back to the last version but keep the search bar PLEASE         App used to work perfectly Mike094

Yes I love this app however it doesn t have a superb rating is it because of a misunderstanding Someone else who uses this app told me that if you create a recipe for this app you do not have to pay for it whereas if you do not make a recipe you do pay for it Is this true If it is true the people who do not know this will definitely be upset over a mishap in communication Perhaps the app creators should clarify this to its users If this is not true I have just made this a lot more confusing and I am sorry I hope Sync My Lights can regain it s sound reputation again                     I m confused 431101134

This app was pretty okay Decently functioning but not great Very mediocre library an acceptable issue considering the heavy reliance on user creation At least until the previously free app started charging an annual fee Even charging a single time for the app feels strange to me considering users supply most of the minuscule amount of content and everything feels experimental This annual fee feels like it s pulling one over on creators and users     Not wort a subscription AnUprightCitizen

I used sync my lights for a while and most of the light recipes were mediocre at best In most cases the app rarely if ever properly synced with what I was watching It was almost always just slightly behind So great I can create my own recipes but now if I want to use any that have already been created I have to pay a 1 99 a year fee for something that isn t even that great in the first place No thank you Removing this app from my phone     Pay for mediocrity kdeverell
