Taking Flight

Wonderful images and information While I am only half way through the book I wanted to point out a few items There are embedded sideshows that show fantastic images but constantly cycle making reading the surrounding text difficult The ability to change font size would be nice and some of the photograph captions dont match the pictures on the page It would be nice to see EXIF data in the captions it would help us recreate the styles that we like           Distractions

It took me awhile to figure out the problems with my network before I got this app to load but it was well worth the effort What a great book for aviation photographers like myself Love the tips and Mooses photographs This is a great app Oh and thanks Brent for your tech help                 Wow Fantastic

I purchased this app when it first came out based on Moose Petersons reputation as a Nikon legend and world reknown photgrapher The content and pictures do not dissapoint They are stellar and the information is the best I have read on getting started in aviation photography This app was then rolled into thier Moose Press app and those that purchased the stand alone app could not import it nor were they given the option to do so I was told I needed to buy the app again at 1299 to get it into the new Moose Press That was dissapointing The stand alone app also is requiring me to download it every time I want to read the content and it is very slow I cannot in good faith rate this app low as the concept and content is again very good I just think if they are going to consolidate all there ebooks and publications they should find away to allow import into their all in one Moose Press without us having to buy it again              Stand alone app is slow

I found this book very informative Yes I have been shooting aviation myself for some time but it is nice to read how some else handles a situation It also helps me to see things in a different light The book mainly focuses on ground to air and static aviation photography which is what the large majority are able to do His photoshop videos are excellent at the end of the book                 Taking Flight review

Moose GREAT APP Had an issue installing it but Brent was quick in response and provided a solution Its up and running and it was worth the wait Cant wait to continue reading and as always the photos are absolutely stunning                 Taking Flight

Wonderfully functional thoughtful and engaging app Highly recommended An instruction page on UIswipe conventions would help since much of the navigation is nonstandard compared to most ebooks The font used for text can be hard to read and needs to be zoomable or scalable All in all a solid appbook that is fun to use and both informative and inspiring                 Fantastic

The photos and information are incredible Whether youre interested in shooting at your local airport or getting out to the pylons or or High G Ridge at Reno or trying your hand at airtoair this book is for you Moose gives a lot of valuable information about techniques and equipment He talks about the equipment he uses but he gears the book to all of uswhether novice on a budget or a professional who is moving into a new genre A previous reviewer noted some issues with the operation of the app I experienced none of the problems PWC1234 reported He reports that it has to download each time he opens what is actually happening is the book is loading into the memory not downloading from the internet each time There is a lot of interactive material and it takes a few seconds no more than 1015 in my experience to load into memory The book DID take a while to download though that may be related to my internet speed I would suggest starting the download before bed and letting it run In short I cant recommend this book enough                 EXCELLENT book And NO problems with downloading or operation

Everything you would ever want to know regarding aircraft photography Moose Peterson has done it again sharing his talent and experience in a truly fabulous learning experience As a budding aircraft photographer I had many questions from technique to equipment that I couldnt find in one place Until now If shooting aircraft is your passion and you want to learn the correct way then this is the information that you need Lots of relevant info coupled with many shots of Mooses tremendous photography all in one tide package                 Taking Flight
