Tap Play: Star Controller - Lite

It is amazing                 Awesome app

I like the idea but I wish I could set it up to remote control VLC or MPCHC As it is I can program it to cause my VLC to skip forward I guess Ill just have to reprogram all of my hotkeys in VLC so I can use this as an alternate controller I only play Quake II and unreal tourney Ill set it up for those Its just that this could do so much more than just games it could be used to control all kinds of PC apps Plus I love all kinds of LCARS skins so ill keep this until I can program some apps to work with it                 Kinda really cool app

Looks nice but I was wondering if the lit version works with sto I tried to get my ship to move but nothing happens I have the server up and running and it says Im connected I tried binding the keys but It docent show Im hitting anything when I do           Nice but I want to test it first

Ok so first things first remember this is a demo not the full app People seem to be forgetting that in the ratings The app is simple enough connect up to a Bonjour server on your Mac or via another server on the PC and then tap those buttons to send them to the computer it works a treat really Theres an extensive support system at the developers website so there should be no problems setting anything up As with most iTunes reviews please dont feed the trolls The app works just fine and the full version Named Tap Play Star Controller is a fantastic app which was well worth the upgrade Its a typical case of people wanting everything from a trial version unfortunately and reviewing it based on that logic Both perform with near zero latency and do exactly as theyre described Dont hesitate grab it now                 Fantastic App

The app is cool and does what it says it will Unfortunately its limited by believe it or not the iPads screen I play Star Trek Online and theres just not enough room for enough buttons to map all the key binds you need especially at the Elite levels Although there is audio feedback when a button is tapped the iPad lacks the tactile feedback of where you are with your fingers like a keyboard provides I find myself taking my eyes off the screen a lot to hit the right controls Nothing wrong with the app just an adjustment the user needs to get accustomed to I considered running on my iPhone to control navigation and speed and using the iPad to do other things The app can do that I agree that I would also like to be able to rename and recolor the buttons as I need and a Klingon theme would be awesome Really cool idea that Im sure will improve over time I do enjoy controlling my ship like they do on the show              Nice app

This is the best app of its kind but I think there should be an option to rename the buttons also a theme that would look like a Klingon Layout would be nice too A layout for navigation would be great for those of us who dont have iPods or hate small screens half the screen could be devoted to navigation while the other half has a fire torpedo target buttons                 Renaming Layout

i use it with my ipod touch 5th gen i love this for the game its so real and trekkie Downsides on the ipod you cant use ablites like engineering team and such so you must have a co pilotmy little brother to do them or keep moving between the app and the mouse Otherwise get it If you have and ipad get it you can use more keybinds there                 great app for Star Trek Online
