Road Ninja disappeared so I was looking for a replacement I saw this and it makes you create an account right away and THEN it tells you it is a trial with a purchase price AFTER you sign up I don t want to have a trial subscription that runs out before my next road trip     Wants account then subscribe Abcded

Let me start with the note that I have used this app since it came out It has been invaluable in our travels It is time for me to renew and I am very sad that I can t do it The app crashes every time I try to open it on my IPad Air 2 and I cannot log in on my iPad mini I have tried to contact the developers and found out that you can t because their contact form on their website requires a code they don t provide I would have to rate this app as 0 stars if I had the option I am very disappointed and now on the hunt for a replacement     Problems with app Poodlemom24

I downloaded this a few days ago and had forgotten it said it was a 14 day trial version I idly tapped the app and was prompted to create a free account It did NOT remind me that I would be starting a 14 day trial If it had I would have waited As it is I could have saved the bandwidth needed to download this app and the immediate 27 MB update required to use it since it ll time out before I can use it All that aside the app is laggy and freezes on an iPad mini 3 with 128mb of ram It s pretty frustrating to use and not worth the money     Trial version Minhala

We picked up our first next exit book in a Walmart checkout line 10 years ago We love using it because you can plan your stops based on how much gas you have left since exit numbers are based on mile markers in most states When I have a little more than a quarter tank left I ask my wife to find an exit 80 100 miles from where we are It takes the guessing game out of gas stops and enables you to confidently run the tank into that red zone if the exits work out right App Store clearly states this app is for existing account holders However it should be free for those who had already paid for the book One flat 15 fee should include the app and book if you want it and vice versa I feel that this app is easy to use but probably best to have a passenger work it for you if possible I rated it 4 stars since the app should really have the capability to immediately show where you re at instead of having to go through the menus every time                 Long time user Really like the new version

I recently drove across the entire USA and tried to use The Next Exit book and app It was so difficult to use the app during the app at night camping or pulled over at a rest stop because the app does not take advantage of Location Services to orient itself to the route you are on the NEXT EXIT you are coming up to Every time you come back to the app you have to find the route you are on the state you are in and the exit you are near Really such a pain that I gave it up each day after trying to use it for the first 100 miles I won t be renewing         Not location aware Kristin1958

The book was so much easier to use because of you could quickly find the state and road your on along with your location with just a flip of a page and a quick scan Notes about the exits could be written on the page and you didn t need to pay for a book each year either The app separately needs a gps option Too hard to find what you need No way to search for what you needed either But they sure got the subscription service down pat though Good product But the book forget the app It needs work         The book the better Nickname req is dumb
