The app doesn t work and therefore the Thync doesn t work The app won t let you do anything until it checks your subscription That s funny I thought they said that they would wait 30 days before auto subscribing us You have to disconnect and reconnect the Bluetooth several times just to clear this hurdle Then when you re finally ready to initiate one of the app s two vibes it simply doesn t work The buttons to start stop and adjust the vibe are faded and completely non responsive and the countdown time remaining counter stays at the beginning The vibes don t start and the screen is mostly frozen tl dr The app doesn t work and therefore the Thync is unusable P S their terms and conditions said that the Thync would be new but I received a refurbished unit No Truth in Advertising with these guys     Garbage ßø∂¥ ßµ∫∫

This is my third post on Thync The service simply does not work every time I try to log in and it rarely works They have great customer service that s about it     Problems RC6000

The video that plays when I open the app is going to drive me crazy I was one of the first users of Thync and it s great However the new app I had Thync when the app was downloaded online is terrible It never lets me pick a vibe when I fire it up I have to watch that video and go through the initial vibe Sometimes it makes me do it multiple times I ve quit using my Thync because I can t use it Why is the video mandatory It s bugging the whole app     This version of the app is unusable FirstThyncUsers

I was very skeptical about the Thync because I focused on neurobiology when I got my degree in biological sciences But I ve been pleasantly surprised by the device and the app I don t use the energy settings but I adore the calm vibes I have a very difficult time shutting off my brain so I can go to sleep The calm vibes help me relax and destress so I can shut off my brain and fall asleep easily While I don t use the energy vibes or strips I let friends use them this weekend and try out the new holiday vibes They raved about how cool it was and how they were seeing strobing lights while using the holiday lights vibe I was thrilled that there was an update for the app and that it works so smoothly this time                     Thync delivers Suzsqueak

I downloaded the app last night and have yet to be able to connect with their server Have not been able to get it to sync with 6 Bluetooth Thinking of sending the device back they just may not be ready for prime time yet Follow up I called tech support the next day and they were unable to help However they promised to call me back And Sunday afternoon watching TV they did call me back After a few minutes later they had everything working I m impressed that they would call me back on a Sunday afternoon     Problem RC6000

First the app it makes you watch the introductory video every single time with no way to skip it This frequent reinforcement of a smiling lady telling you how great it is seems key to their desired indoctrination propaganda The device itself is not science based and has no independent replicated studies to validate it does anything useful at all I experimented with this with myself and others and NOBODY found it to be useful whatsoever At best it is a placebo It s particularly revealing how during the vibe the recording comes on to prompt you to notice how calm you feel This is suggestion Real treatments don t require this sort of scammy thing Further I have read the research which the company did itself and submitted in a non peer reviewed online journal There is really no strong physiological plausibility for this device to work as claimed This is a business plan in search of a product     App is terrible Device is a placebo ………………….;

I ve had all kinds of login problems Won t let me log in I change the password it still won t let me log in More often than not when the app does let me log in for some reason it thinks I have never used Thync before and wants to walk me through the whole tutorial process This was a minor annoyance at first but with the latest update it forces me to watch multiple tutorial videos and won t let me skip them Over and over and over As for the device itself It s kind of cool I guess My wife and I haven t noticed a big difference in our awareness after using it I m also not sure why they can t make strips that last longer They are only supposed to be used once and cost 4 each which makes for an expensive activity over time We have an electrical muscle stimulator that uses similar electrodes that can be used indefinitely You just rinse them with water when they lose their stickiness I guess the Thync folks plan to make most of their money by selling the disposable strips instead of making quality ones         App is kind of a mess Parmenedes
