This game is one of my favorites but now unusable     Wheres the update for ios8

Interface bugs will not allow you to see menu restart a game move cards around select cards for play etc etc you cant play this game as it stands on ios8 Needs update After months on my wishlist i finally bought it and now i feel regret     Broken and Unplayable

Therefore it is the greatest                 The only Tichu app Ive seen

Updated 10092014 now the scoring is completely random Starts out with a score of negative 256 and randomly counts Tichus and Grand Tichus that were never called           Problem with latest update

Im not a gamer but I can waste an incredible amount of time with this fun and challenging game Tutorial is great but dont always trust the play suggestions Try it                 Great diversion

All in all a good game but sometimes the computer players dont play as they should or dont play at all Ive sat thru hands where my computer partner didnt play a single card              AI is a little messed up

Ive had a blast playing this so far Id really love to see my partners AI improved a bit to make smarter team decisions Like other reviewers have said there are an insane number of bombs that come up during play too Theres no way a legit shuffle would come up with that many so often Regardless very enjoyable and great practice for when youre playing with friends for real              Fun but the AI could be smarter

Everyone should play this And the support is great I was experiencing a bug and the developer helped me figure it out very quickly                 Totally recommend

I highly recommend this game which has given me countless hours of entertainment I learned tichu from this app and its still mainly how I play although Ive managed to introduce it to people with a real deck One gripe I originally had with the game was with the AI specifically the AI partner My girlfriend used to hear me yell expletives at Becky all the time I have largely eliminated the problems by setting her mode to normal play with better intelligence At times Im on the edge of my seat expecting her to totally drop the ball but usually she plays a lot like a good human partner Every now and then she even surprises me by playing off cards in complex and creative ways although I like to think I carry us yeah my girlfriend is a little jealous of Becky Anyway the game is awesome and I recommend it for learning the fantastic game of tichu passing time indefinitely refining strategy and playing multiplayer when you cant do it in person                 Excellent

The computer cheats as it gets stronger It deals bad hands to you and incredible hands to your opponents They always have the miracle hand to beat your run of 7 BOOOOOOOOOO     Game cheats

Once the game worked fine then now it has several problems after I updated to the latest iOS 82 Now the game closes unexpectedly but when I start it up again it is in the same place in the the game when it closed If I click on a card in error I cant get it to minimize again I try quite game and cant find out how to do that I use to be able to just start a new game if I did but I cant do that either It says there arent any updates either                 Gone bad

Used to play this every night with friends When they had to move away this was a great substitute I set up the computer players to play just like my friends and its very realistic                 Great App

I picked this game up with no knowledge of Tichu several years ago and can safely say its one of my favorite games The apps instruction manual is very well written for a game like this and the freedom to play with in my opinion well designed AI leads to an intuitive method of learning the game and some strategy If you like card games especially similar games like bridge spades 13 etc this is a fantastic way to learn and play a great one                 An Excellent Card Game

This is a very fun card game that I play all the time It had been getting buggy with the various iOS updates iOS 8 led to some bad problems which are now fixed Multiplayer through Game Center is still a little quirky but nothing that cant be worked around Everything else now works fine which is great because its a wonderful game                 An update Hooray

Never play card games of this sort but Im a convert Cant wait to pick up the physical version for game night                 Excellent card strategy game

This app is great for learning and improving at Tichu However on my iPhone I unable to play multiplayer I wouldnt hold this against the app if it didnt advertise it as an option then state that it is unsupported on my device I would expect the option to simply be hidden              Great way to learn but missing multiplayer

It walks you through the rules and provides handy tips Tichu is a great underrated game thats very easy to start playing The app could have better graphic design though                 Great for beginners and experienced players

Ive played card games from Magic to Ascension to Poker and Cribbage and this game surely fits that bill Relatively easy game to pick up but it offers a good amount of depth It has elements of strategy reasoning and deduction that I really enjoy in a game You play as a team which is something that you dont find so often in card games but is very nice to have incorporated I first purchased this app to give the game a trial run now Im most likely going buy the physical game which Im sure will hit the table a lot                 Great game

I never played Tichu before this app The hints popping up during the first hand were a fantastic way to learn Lots of subtle details are exactly right in this app One tiny wish for the author dont give a crappylooking error message when you cant connect to the Internet since it doesnt matter for AInplay Just gray out the player vs player options                 Fantastic new discovery

The idea is to get rid of your cards with the usual poker hands So obviously theres an element of luck involved Included in this deck are special cards that have somewhat silly rules as are the bomb rules Interesting but as with other card games gets predictable after a while           Poker variation with special cards

After upgrading to iOS 8 on iPad Air cards hang out in the middle of pass and cant pull back Happens when you put cards out and try and switch left and right pass cards Needs an update              iOS 8 bugs

Bought this to learn the game and help me decide whether to buy a physical copy The game is a lot of fun and the iOS version is excellent months later I bought the physical version which is also great AI is good graphics and sound are great at representing what is going on and the doubletap feature to quickly select a possible play makes the game fast and delightful to play without ruining the fun of coming up with your own play once you know what youre doing Highly recommended to anybody who likes card games especially tricktaking partner and bidding games Tichu has quickly surpassed Rook and Euchre as two of my favorite games in the genre Its kind of tricky to get local multiplayer going but once you do it works great                 Awesome

I love playing this game particularly locally with friends Since the iOS8 update playing locally with friends is next to impossible You simply cant connect to a local player        Great App Until iOS8

Great app This is an amazing learning tool if you play Tichu in person Criticisms 1 The AI is weird even in Better mode your partner will inexplicably play over you when youve called Tichu or fail to block an opponent from going out on a Tichu call with the appropriate cards in hand eg Dragon 2 The option to join a random online game simply doesnt work Maybe it would help to provide an average time estimate as in the popular Carcassonne app Even better a progress indication On my phone the dialog box remains up until the screen locks from inactivity with no status indication whatsoever If it takes more than a few minutes to set up a game then it should happen in the background and start the game with a notification                 Fantastic game

This app is in need of a new update for the new iOS Cards get frozen on the screen        Needs update

The app works well enough for solo play but its difficult to find opponents for multiplayer When I finally did get my friends to join a multiplayer game the scoring didnt work Disappointing        Multiplayer problem

I loved this app but it needs an update Selecting cards to trade causes the card to zoom in and then you cant grab it anymore Cannot continue past that point              New IOS broke my app

Never played the game before but downloaded this after getting bored with my other cardstrategy games about two years ago Still playing it Still loving it The computer opponent strength is good but not great But it takes little away from the game The only thing missing a way to quit a game you have a set of six save game slots When thats full you have to complete one that Im loosing badly on usually to start a new one Annoying but not enough to take a star off                 Well done consistent fun

Would play this game a lot in my gaming groups Simply put it is one of the most strategic card games out there save for bridge This iPhone implementation is very well done full of features and smart enough to play a good game when you dont have a partner available Definitely worth the price                 Well designed app for a classic game

some obscure bugs though The first is that youll never be able to bomb your own lead but the computer can Its just faster The last game I played the ai on my right went out ai on my left had one card left and i tried to bomb my lead and I of course could not but something else odd happened It registered a bomb although I could see the the left opponent had played his card Then mr right calledTichu The lead went to me and final score for the hand was 85us 115them weird                 loving it

If theres a way to quit a game I cant find it AI is decently strong hence the need for a ragequit feature              No way to abandon a game

If you like HeartsSpades and are looking for an extra challenge pick this one up Deceptively deep strategy              Great game

Awesome app for playing Tichu with friends far away Up to 4 friends can connect locally or thru Game Center I do wish there were more customization options I really wish you could change the table background Even if it was just the color hue Awesome game nevertheless              Awesome
