I understand the intent of the app created for its ease of use I do like its simplicity questions and color HOWEVER for me it needs a rounding option and I don t see the percentage option Maybe a switch to interchange between simple tipping for those who just wanna get it done and an advance tipping options for OCD people like myself who feel the need to control the percentage and especially rounding off to an even dollar amount Your on to something keep it up I really like check please but it doesn t appeal to my eyes I like it for the options of controlling more of my tip         Needs more Mama Q.

Sometimes the service you receive is pathetic because there is something else going on that you cannot see Perhaps another table is being very demanding or food is coming out of the kitchen slow or the soda machine isn t working We do our best In PA servers are paid 2 83 an hour That means no paycheck after Uncle Sam takes his cut So I rely on tips to pay my bills I m also in college trying to get a better job but that s in the distant future I do the best that I can but I cannot possibly give every table good service for the reasons I mentioned This app would be better if it did not offer the option to tip so low     Server here Jenietal

The design is simple and clean I like that The issues I have are 1 The sound Why does a tip calculator app need sound 2 No rounded total I always round the amount to a full dollar value instead of 123 45 I would do 124 00 3 You can t change the middle tip amount Normally a tip for bad service for me at least is 7 5 A typical tip is 15 And an excellent tip is 20 But this app only lets you pick the top and bottom tip percentage and puts the normal tip as halfway between the excellent bad amounts Is it really that hard just to put another box to be able to enter all three tips individually             It s OK thejbfamily

It is refreshing when you see an app progressively getting better in terms of function and aesthetics with each update But when see it going from beautiful to ugly you almost feel kind of numb You stare at it and you just can t believe it This is the case with Tippit s icon It s HORRIBLE It doesn t matter how pretty an app is on the inside if it s ugly on the outside it s not going to sit on any of my iDevice s screens if you know what I mean         Horrible icon northandsouth

This is one of the best tip apps I ve used The simple UI is just what I needed There s two enhancements I would make however First the icon should be changed back to the original Please consider changing it back Second I notice that rounding the tip is not an option This would a great plus to have in the app                 Please change the icon back gzurio

Nice clean UI easy on the eyes w no unnecessary clutter What it does it does well Sure it would be nice to see the tip rates but they re easy to find if you plug in 1 00 for the initial bill amount Rates increase from 5 pathetic to 25 impressive with 15 mediocre in the middle Knowing that the slider is a nice idea who wants to obsess over math after a good meal or an evening at the pub right                     Nice simple Tip rates revealed ekxxi

I like the idea of this app esp when dining in a group but the slider thing is just WRONG Until a straight percentage of tip option is added it s much easier to just do it on a calculator or in my head at least I know then how I tipped 20 is pretty common who tips 17 39 or 21 14 Why even have those options And let us round up Good start but missing 2 key things             Good idea but missing 1462xx

Very true that there are so few tip calculators designed for iOS 7 This one works great and has a nice streamlined interface My only suggestion would be to show the actual percentage of the total the tip is being calculated by Maybe show it as you adjust the slider                     Awesome Interface dave_powers

I agree this is a good app but also needs a percentage scale along with the Text Scale I feel 20 percent may be appropriate for excellent service A higher percentage may be rare unless server goes way beyond what is expected                 Happy Diner BarryatPA

Nicely designed app but it needs a setting option so you can designate exactly what percent you want to tip From what I can figure Pathetic is 5 Mediocre is 15 and Impressive is 25 I want to give these ratings my own values Add that option and you get 5 stars Also no way to round up or down             Creative but needs a percentage setting tfigs
