I use both the VPR app and the NHPR app I ve never understood why the NHPR app is so much better than the VPR app The VPR app drops off constantly and is super annoying to use I wish it were better     Dropping constantly Cindy123455

This app has been so bad for so long I have notified VPR that I am ending my sustaining membership until it is fixed It s adequate if you sit in one place but walking around my house let alone outside the app continuously stalls drops off or quits Not only does it not handle transitions between Wi FI and cell it does not even handle transitions from one Wi Fi node to another on the same network I can walk all around my entire property streaming Pandora but the VPR app is unusable VPR is well aware of these issues and chooses to ignore them     Adequate if you don t move around 802Bob

The app works as well as any other streaming app That being said it is just as fragile as any other such app The app does not handle the transitions from WiFi to Wireless and vice versa well The stream will stop and you have to close the app double click the home button and swipe away the app and start it back up to get it to work again On the user interface the button to start the stream playing is very small and very close to the top of the screen It would be easier to mash the button one handed if it were larger and closer to the bottom of the screen             As good as any other app of this type JeffG64

The previous version would drop the stream occasionally but was ok This update is horrible I m lucky if I can get a minute of audio before it drops         Streaming is unusable ChitVT

Unfortunately this app is not ready for prime time At first I thought it only stopped playing when transitioning from wifi to cellular Then I realized it stopped sometimes every few seconds on cellular too Could not put the phone in my pocket I had to restart it so often I will give it another release before I delete it but it is now on my about to delete list         App is almost unusable stops too often mrooneyvt

The app design and audio quality is great however the app crashes randomly and stops streaming intermittently But my biggest complaint would be that my battery drains about 40 45 in 2 hours of listening This is unacceptable         Battery draining zingZACH
