This app is great once you understand the methodology behind Cantoas approach It s definitely a huge departure from conventional vocal training ideology but his approach to building the voice is based on making the voice stronger and this app is a great tool toward that goal True his approach offers little variety in ways of scales and exercises but it s nonetheless a valuable tool for any singer looking to expand the range and muscularity of the voice                     Great once you get the concept Jah2607

This is a good app but in recent post ios7 updates there is a ipad bug in which the app appears upside down when started in landscape mode with button on the right It remains this way until you flip it over the other way and then back again This is very annoying to have to do EVERY time you start the app             Please fix orientation bug RSukie

I ve been singing professionally since I was eleven years old 1961 During this past year I ve had increasing difficulty with my voice Cracking hoarseness reduced range tone and stamina We all take our voice for granted until we start to lose it I ve been very worried sick that despite my various efforts my voice quality would never come back to what it was I even started turning down work losing money and was very discouraged about my performing future A very knowledgeable and good friend suggested that I call Gary Catona After describing my situation and what I had done to mitigate it Gary told me to download his Voice Builder App start doing the exercises and call him back in two or three weeks Yesterday on the way to my gig I did the first 30 minute set of Baritone Lower Register exercises Keep in mind although I did my best to sing each passage properly following all of the instructions I feel like I did them imperfectly at best Much to my delight my singing last night was by far the best that it s been in over a year My guitar player and I alternate who sings each song so I pretty much sang every other song during our 4 hour gig My tone and range were much purer and stronger without any hoarseness or cracking I also noticed that my placement shifted effortlessly back and down in my throat instead of forward where I ve been singing the last year I closed out the night with Jimmy Webb s song Still Within the Sound of My Voice kind of ironic Absolutely the best that I ve ever sung that deeply moving but very challenging tune Last night I received many compliments on my singing from the restaurant s patrons and staff and amazingly even my drummer noticed and commented on the change I m really excited to see what improvement will happen as I use Vocal Builder in the coming weeks and months I realize that everyone s voice is different and not everyone will have the instant results that I ve experienced but I believe that this app is a wonderful tool to help strengthen the core muscles of one s singing voice Bless You Gary Catona                     Wow Dramatic Improvement Already PeperTunes

I am very disappointed in this app and would get my 5 back if I could This main screen of this app gives the impression that it is using the microphone to monitor your voice and give actual feedback on your voice and pitch Also with the wireframe head it could also be monitoring your face with the camera but I was not expecting that So if it doesn t monitor your face volume or pitch what does it do Well it essentially is playing a dumb loop that takes no feedback whatsoever Singing at the wrong pitch no problem because the app is not listening Not singing at all no problem because the app is not listening It has the possibilities to be so much better if it could give you actual feedback on the sound you are generating Don t buy this app Buy the Erol Studios app instead it is by far the best I have seen for a singing coach type application     Initial Review GaryMilne

This app was suggested my my speech pathologist and I m finding it a perfect way to get a great vocal workout I have spasmodic dysphonia a rare voice disorder After doing a half hour of singing saying the sounds it s like I ve been in a gym a real workout I find it very tiring but can tell it is helping me slowly build vocal strength and stamina What a great value for a tool I need so much I use it twice a day and find I can do it while driving getting ready in the morning or doing other simple tasks                     A well named app Russell and Sharyn

Very good app if one proceeds with caution Careless use could do harm as one could damage their vocal cords by straining to achieve volume I m a huge fan of voice level singing as a way of avoiding strain so I ve been using the app to increase vocal strength in the same way I would use weights to build arm strength The secret is consistent use with gradual increases in volume by gradual increases in diaphragm pressure                 Easy Does It Gr4Fun
