I m not sure exactly when this problem started if it was the last update or update to iOS 7 but now I can t do a complete match that goes to 3 sets It has always asked when the 3rd set starts if you want to change to total points from 25 to 15 In the state of Missouri high school are required to play to 25 Now in the vb Ace app no matter if I answer the question correctly no or try yes it still saves and closes the match when one of the teams gets to 15 I am missing many of the stats that happen in those last points of the third set Very frustrated because this did not used to be a problem Help             Problems with update Ti5

We have been having this app for 5 6 years and I love it It is so user friendly that it only takes 1 2 people to work it You don t have to worry about your players missing any stats or understanding when to tally a stat during the match They just need to be able to tap the of the players touching the ball and the action of the play Very Easy You can also see many different types of stats i e by rotation or even percentages I do however miss the palm pilot we are now using the iPad because it was able to tally all stats from multiple matches on the palm You can still do it but you can only do it from a desktop computer From what I understand this is not VB ACE s fault The Apple program is not capable of doing this SOO VB ACE is 1 in my book                     Almost Perfect EaStAmant

I had been researching volleyball stat programs since the summer I tried another app in the hope that I could get away with a 20 investment After reviewing my stats and talking about our options our head coach insisted that I buy and use Volleyball Ace I was a little intimidated by the thought of capturing every touch but I had a month under my belt with the other program The transistion turned out to be much easier than I thought and the output and quality of the reports made up for any new learning that was required The vast majority of touches by a player require just one finger touch from me End of point stats were simply not enough for our volleyball program I spoke personally with a customer rep and found her patient and enthusiastic about volleyball and the software We definitely made the right decision with this app                     The App that does it all Wolves Stat Man

This is my seventh year with various versions of this product Started with palm pilot and have since used it on ipod touch and ipad Love it The entry system is intuitive and simple the touch screens are clear and easy to manipulate to get live information and the desktop analyzer makes it very easy to break out stats for compliance and to use when prepping the next week s practices I used it when I was an assistant and when I made the move to head coach I didn t even have to teach it to my assistants I simply let them play with it for an hour and they picked up nuances that I hadn t even noticed When I moved back and forth between PC and Mac I couldn t figure out where my Mac was hiding my files so I called Volleyball Ace and the support was great She s very friendly and helpful and clearly wants to make the best product possible for users I m only now using this for more of our practice statting but have had a good experience with it and the ability to customize the types of stats I want made it easy to plug in I d strongly recommend it                     Excellent value and product RichVBCoach

This is a long overdue review for this fabulous software I was a long time user of the PocketPC version and finally migrated to iPad for our High School team I am so glad that I decided to get this Volleyball Ace Below are the major reasons why easy to use fast shot charts help us adjustor defense on the fly the ability to compile multiple games for stats is awesome We can identify opportunities for improvement based on start from a game match tournament or several events over a longer period of time Box Score gives a great overview for those at a glance stats that are helpful Ability to upload results and stats to Max Preps is a great timesaver Would love to see the same ability to upload to VarVee Developer was VERY helpful in working thru some startup glitches the move from PocketPC to iPad was fabulous much more snappy response better graphics easier to share data with the team One Click error analysis enables us to assess areas of concern while still tracking the game the flexibility of configuration including charting and rating is very awesome Bottom line the bang for the buck for this software is incredible                     Top Notch product Ed Roze

I have been a user of the VB Ace stat program for several years now on my Pocket PC but have been waiting for the release of the software for iPhone since 2008 This stat program worked fantastic for the iPhone much smoother than the Pocket PC version I used a few years back I was able to take stats for our JV team after about 30min refresher I am still getting the hang of charting serves and attacks at the same time as keeping stats but a few more practice matches and I should be good The Analyzer software also helps you to pick which stats you want to view in a simple interface as well Thank you to Gerrie for great customer service as well                     VBAce welcome to iPhone redsand1313

I have used VB ACE for several years on Palm device and was happy to see it as an Ipad app After downloading VB Ace has now disappeared from being an Ipad app only Iphone Unable to download stats to game manager Total waste of 90 Very disappointed with support and ability to sync Ipad stats with computer Do not buy for Ipad I phone app may be better but what is the point I would like a larger screen than a palm or iphone and thought that what you were getting with Ipad app     Terrible jjrock1

I have been a long Volleyball ACE Software user begining in 2002 with a now old Palm Pilot Finally the Palm had its last match and had to be retired I hestiated to purchase an ipad but recently bought one to run a stat program I searched for the Volleyball ACE Software but first found a FREE web based version and immediately downloaded it with the though of this has to be good Well 15 minutes later it seemed to user unfriendly and difficult to even get setup to start a match I went back an found Volleyball ACE for the ipad and it is money well spent The functionality is still present and easier to use with a larger screen As a long time user of the software it still gives all the information I need in a match with the simple touch or TAP format This software has not let me down in 9 years and I hope to have it with me for the next decade                     iPad user Great App David Rehr

I m very impressed how little we settle for Granted the potential for this app is very good but bottom line it is not designed for an iPad It s clunky and quits every day that I use it once in the middle of the match Graphs of serves hits etc froze the iPad completely Had to turn off and restart This was built for a palm pilot and patched together to be somewhat functional on the iPad Hello cannot email stats It s not like I m already up late enough I spent many unnecessary hours going from iPad to desktop to excel to email Two buttons and I want to be done for the night Redesign thinking like an iPad user not an engineer or volleyball coach For 90 it s not a request it s an expectation I m stuck with it now that our school has bought it This is the most expensive I have ever bought times 5 great idea but if I bought it for the iPad optimize it for the iPad Give support for the iPad I d buy it again if were optimized I dread the extra time away from my family it will take to transfer stats to head coach and newspaper Powerful like a locomotive but not very intuitive outside the volleyball aspects I can do what this app does faster with paper and a desktop With other apps they are user intuitive yet don t know anything about volleyball they stat using incorrect formulas don t stat the most common ways that coaches think but at least with minimal effort I can get the info published to others in seconds It would be nice to fully chart the other team roster included At the state level it helps to know the key players of the other team and their tendencies I love volleyball ace and the volleyball strength this app has but as an efficient tool 90 does not warrant anything above 3 stars People don t fall in love with what an app does fall in love with what you really need it to do Ivballstat 2 for iPad is coming much closer much faster to the end game         Not for iPad hype4jc
