Wikibot is a beautiful Wikipedia reader that it a joy to get lost in Wikipedia. Based on the award winning Wikibot, Wikibot 2 has been lovingly rebuilt from scratch for iOS 7. Brief Highlights: Enjoy the ...
I m rewriting my glowing review from a couple of years ago to a not so glowing review There hasn t been an update in 18 months and now this once great app is getting buggy Please update             Best Wikipedia app ever Beatleapostle
Only one that I know that lets u increase font My favorite design as well                 Get this one AndyBztz
I ve used loved Wikibot years before its rebranding I ve always loved having the ability to open links on the page I m reading into another tab That way as I m learning about one subject I can open other pages to help answer questions I might have or take me deeper into another topic This is the only Wiki app that I ve found that is smart enough to let you do this As of this current version last updated 6 2015 that feature does not work anymore It opens multiple blank pages and doesn t let you get back to the original article unless you quit it It s shame This is by far the best app I ve used for Wiki work its best feature has been crippled I hope that development continues on Wikibot 2 that it hasn t become abandonware                 Great app but please fix important to me issue Aldo P. Really appreciate the display and functionality of this app I love the feature that allows you to pdf articles to ibooks for later reading Thank you very much                     Really appreciate the App Celtic-Frontier

This app used to be great and I loved syncing my articles between my iPad and Mac However the latest iPad version broke that feature for me and syncing is no longer reliable I hope a fix can be made soon I m not sure if the problem is on the Mac or iOS side but considering the Mac version hasn t been updated in nearly two years now and still uses the old version of the interface maybe that s the problem Either way I hope both versions get updated soon to fix this     Used to love kittycat262728
It doesn t do anything special but that s exactly how it should be Clean interface offline caching and lots of typeface adjustments Well done                     Best Wiki Reader I ve Found Thus Far mvolpe4

Thanks for fixing Now the first pictures the ones in the first article table even open when tapped Even the older version didn t do this great fix If it doesn t work for you try clearing your cache under settings That did the trick for me My only complaint in this version is the app crashes when I try to disable shake for random under the advanced setting Other than that this is a great update                 Update is good need_my_wiki
Images do not load bookmarks cannot be made the entire system freezes This release is a mess It used to be a great project please fix ASAP     Disastrous Update Fbruno76
Buyers beware This app does not work on iOS 8 The last update was in April The app crashes all the time and it absolutely will crash if you even open the settings The developer needs to get on the ball here iOS 8 has been out for a few weeks now and they re charging for an app that doesn t work I emailed their support many days ago but have never heard back Not a good way to do business Not impressed     The App is Useless blogbarger
Clearly not compatible with iOS 8 crashes constantly when loading an article or even changing a setting and therefore a waste of money unless until the developer fixes it up Please test your app works or else make it free until it does Don t charge people to watch your app crash     Crashes on iOS 8 Polar Midnight

I ve enjoyed Wikibot for a couple of years But in v2 0 2 I can t see how to close an article when multiple articles are open There used to be an X in the upper right of an article window but not any longer Any advice I ve emailed the developer several times but have never received a response             How close articles Rick7072
I am a long time user of Wikibot and love a good Wikipedia app It greatly improves my experience with Wikipedia on the go Wikibot has always been the app with the most utility Recently though the developer is causing lots of fragmentation with their apps by creating too many versions of apps that do slightly different things I believe this affects the overall quality and leads to issues and irritated customers that pay multiple times to get the functionality that should be combined in one app Why not make one Wikipedia app called Wikibot and add a in app purchase to download offline content Also integrate read out loud features instead of releasing a separate app Please update your desktop apps so they work with your mobile apps in a streamline way I currently have a ton of bookmarks in Wikibot but they don t show up in Wiki Offline which is very annoying The apps are almost identical I have issues with the apps crashing and after paying for the app and the subscription to download the offline content I believe the app should be top notch and not crash I can get the app to crash by just waiting a hour or loading a lot of articles Do you test your app Do you use your own app There are also weird visual layout issues like on the iPhone when searching the search bar is not on top of a bar and just overlays the content like an afterthought Overall I like the apps but please quit the fragmentation Your making it harder on yourself I would gladly pay but please fix these issues                 Major fragmentation and little bugs jordanr1186
This is a very nice minimalist Wikipedia app Please add back and forward gestures Looking forward to future updates Thanks                 Great Start itabmedia

As others have noted this app is not functional on the iPhone or iPad in iOS 8 Besides crashing the share sheet does not work properly meaning you cannot bookmark the article you are reading This was my goto Wikipedia app for iOS and Mac until these problems started in iOS 8 so I hope the developer plans on fixing it up     Update to iOS 8 please
