It weighs in at only 0.5 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.5 has been released on 2014-11-27. I ve had a couple tags for a year The tags themselves are pretty neat The software is nearly incomprehensible It s like a test tool for tags I m an engineer and it takes me an hour to set them back up when the batteries in the tags die It s been beta quality for too long         Tags are ok software is pretty bad perverseosmosis

I purchased this product and had high hopes for it When I received it there was a problem The label on the receiver ripped rendering the serial number unreadable Without the serial number you can t use the device The serial number isn t written anywhere else not on the box not on the manual not on the registration card not in the email For something as important you would think it would appear in more than one place This problem is compounded by the fact that when I called them during business hours I got a recording saying it was after business hours I called again the next day earlier and was told nobody was available and to fill out a support ticket online The problem the website won t let me create a support ticket I sent two emails to customer service which the phone recording said would be responded to within one business day So far I ve heard nothing In short a worthless product and nonexistent support I will be returning the product shortly     Non existent support avoid Jeffsstuff

I needed to track the temp in my attic to make sure my venting was working correctly I bought the 5 pack of sensors to also monitor the outside temp and some rooms in the house This app gave me tons of great data to work with and showed some interesting trends overall                     Perfect for what I needed Jacob0719

Edit April 2017 developers are releasing new features fairly often and my sensors are working with relatively little issues Still happy with the system If you like data and smart home automation this app and the sensors are great for just that Edit June 2016 my review below was answered VERY quickly The developers added every detail that I requested I am very happy and appreciate the responsiveness My next request is for additional smart control products to be supported such as the TP link wifi switches Also I would like to see a waterproof reed sensor and PIR sensor April 2016 Looking for a new feature to be added I would like the ability to swipe on a notification on the lock screen and a pause for an hour button appears Ideally the time frame could be configurable for each sensor Also this button should be available on the Apple Watch when the notification appears there Also another button I believe you can do two to disarm the sensor for a configurable amount of Time as well This way I can stop notifications if I am in out of the back door during a specific time period or disarm the tag from affecting other smart items in the house I really hope this is a feasible feature that can be added Thanks                 Great product Jeasy1988

5 Stars indeed These devices are are superb for my needs I m new to them so I started with just two devices and the network device Tied the network device into our home network The devices I have one in our basement beside the sump pumps in case anything happens when we are traveling I ll get notified I also have one stuck on the garage entry door This let s me know when our kids pop over when we re traveling Great devices and I can vision many other uses                     Superb devices digitald00d

I use tags in combination with Nest thermostats to control the temperature using two furnaces in my mother s large old house in Indiana I do this from New York City She was cool all last summer and warm this winter and her energy bills went down Love these tags Good value for the money absolutely                     Nana is warm now Eddie in IN

I have one on my garage door underground in my irrigation value box cigar humidor and IR sensor on my back patio They all talk to my Insteon automation system so I get text messages and light control based on the condition of the tags Very cool My favorite automation sensors                     Best little gadgets ever vbphil

App is excellent Sensors are perfect The only thing I had during installation that tag manager is low on signal strength if you use metal refrigerators Doesn t make any difference if you are using narrow or wide band But with Wi Fi it s obvious Be prepared to use more tag managers for professional environment                     Great app BolicRIX

We re using these to monitor the temperature in our kids bedrooms With temps so high here in Texas in the summer the app has notified us when the temp got up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit and we needed to lower the AC It s comforting to know we have an alert for the possibility of the AC failing We also have a tag in the freezer Our fridge is getting older and the appliance guy let us know the whirring motor may be near the end of its life With our freezer full of breast milk I feel better knowing the tag will alert us if it dies overnight It s already pinged us for leaving the door open too long while loading groceries We re barely scratching the surface of their functionality and already they have been so helpful                     Amazing for Parents Claire T.

I had a small bit of trouble initially because of needing to open a port on my AirPort Extreme but once I did that the wireless tags worked perfectly The app itself is a little busy but that s because it offers numerous customization options I particularly appreciate the push notifications for when a sensor s temperature goes above or below a preset number and the temperature graphs over time are also extremely useful                     Nicely customizable app for tracking temperature changes Adam C. UI Does need help but only because there s a lot you can do and it s all crammed into a few screens It s clearly an interface developed by and for engineers Some options are still only available on the web interface Or maybe I just can t find the option to clear all graph data on my iPad                 Great technology c9belayer

These sensors are great for folks who are technically inclined to use for a variety of purposes They can be used to track the opening closing of doors motion temperature and humidity They can be linked with the Nest thermostat for example and used as an alternative source of the room temperature used to turn on off the heat air The app interface is a little tough to navigate at first but it can be figured out I use these on doors throughout my home so I know when they open close I really enjoy this product                     Great Product for Techies SawyerCurt

I want to love this product really I do The concept is amazing the tags are inexpensive and super simple to install and set up But the app is just painful to use It s got a lot of features too many features in fact but it doesn t do any of them especially well The UI is awful like is this button showing me the light is on or letting me turn it on With a little polish this could be such a fabulous app it makes me want to cry every time I use it         Great concept clunky app NeverToBeSeen
