The new Wisconsin Butterflies app version 2.0 has been updated on 2014-11-26. Not sure how often data gets pulled from the website but as I enter the hobby of butterfly tracking Ill keep this with me Would be nice to be able to report sightings from the app Looks good
The older version is an excellent app for my husbands iTouch however the version for iPad is not really for iPad its just an iTouch app that can be increased 2x which to me makes for a blurry disappointing app Would not have bought it if I had known that was the case Blurry
Im a beginner with identifying local butterflies This app is easy to use and fun You get a simple photo key several photos of each species a relative abundance bar graph by weekmonth and the text explains what distinguishes similar species I dont leave home without it Wisconsin Butterflies Dont Leave Home Without It
I dont usually leave reviews but this app is excellent I had a large butterfly land on my porch and within minutes I could identify what it was Worth the money if you are interested in knowing about WI butterflies And great pictures Great
The website is great and the app is wonderful for those of us attached to our mobile devices while in the field Even though Im in MN I am constantly referencing your site and now app Please consider adding tiger beetles and robber flies to the app Thanks Great app
Works fine on iPhone 4 Sightings data is based on real observations I have yet to use it in WI but it is great in Michigan Elegant quick and datarich
