What a terrible app I was using this to write a paper for a seminar when I didn t have my laptop with me As soon as I tried to open the app again my writing was gone and hasn t been recovered     Deletes writing DrCarpenter

I used this app as a notepad with a word counter for a while but I will be deleting it The ads that pop up are annoying but tolerable considering that the app is free HOWEVER if you accidentally tap some of the ads on the wrong place it will take you to the App Store and sometimes delete everything that you typed out It s about a 50 50 chance and I m tired of losing pieces of ideas because I didn t hit the X correctly the positioning of which changes with each ad I wanted to like this app I really did but it deleted my stuff for the last time today     I wanted to like it Kayile

The app does count your words basically in the title But my advice is to not write straight into the app Lots of the comments complain that it got rid of your hard work While yes this is a problem that should get fixed I never really took a bother to it What I suggest is to type it out in notes or something and then copy and paste it into the app I hope that helps                 Gets The Job Done AliveAndNotWell

This app is helpful when you need a certain word count for an assignment but if you close the app it will delete the entire thing There should probably be a save option included For short assignments it is great and easy to use I would recommend this app to those who need a quick word count for their task I would just have to warn them their text will not save if they close the app             Good for short assignments Giglieo15

Very basic app but it gets the job done People keep complaining about it deleting their work PEOPLE This app is not meant to be used as a word processing app You type your work elsewhere then copy and paste it here to see how many words and characters it has Like this I get free products in exchange for honest reviews and they like them to be longer than 250 words So I type my review in notes and then paste it here to see how long it is Not that hard of a concept Back to the app It works Does what I need Hopefully the word count is correct I haven t moved anything to Word or counted so I don t know for sure But it helps me Thanks developers                     Works fine for me Cocorowe

This app is great I love the simple design I love that it is such a small file 1 10 the size of some other bloated options so downloads in seconds and who needs a word counting app to take up precious space I personally am quite happy with it Note that yes if you close the app it will not save your text which could be improved so be careful And yes the Type or paste text here should be a placeholder not text itself to make it less annoying                     Perfect Enough CMoneyFresh

While this will technically get the job done there are a lot of issues You can copy and paste something into this app but first you have to delete the text that says Type or page text here Then you can copy and paste and press count If you exit out of the app everything is gone from it There needs to be a erase or clear button where you can clear everything off instead of editing and reopening the app I personally wouldn t recommend at least not until it has some basic upgrades Deleting the app and reinstalling a different one         Very basic needs a lot of work Brooke Y.
