XPP

The XPP is now available as a free download on Apple Store for iPad owners. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 3.7 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 2.4 has been released on 2014-11-27. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. I have used and created several programs for solving families of ODEs and find this to be the easiest to use once you learn how to give it instructions It is particularly powerful in its ability to vary equation parameters and observe the effect on the solutions in real time while changing a parameters s value At first the very limited help and many examples provided are just adequate to permit you to get started Try very simple single single DEs for your initial trials Try families and more complicated equations only after having gotten simple equations to run and produce solutions You will learn a lot by trial and error before you begin to feel comfortable with the program that was my experience However after the initial learning period the program really begins to reveal its capability                 A quick path to solving ODEs wmotil
