I make a living as a professional presenter and trainer where I typically give talks or run full day workshops A talk is for 20 60 minutes for an audience At conferences the pressure is on to finish on time and sometimes times are changed at the last minute I always use this app as it helps me stay on track and helps me avoid spending too much time on a topic early on only to run out of time in the end The app is great the best I have found for what I do I am able to copy and export old presentations and when running them with a fixed starting time I can change schedules in real time and just update the app to show the new timings It would be great to import timings from a spread sheet or a text file It would also be great to have the app sync with Dropbox or iCloud or even GDrive I would also like to see the ability to group past presentations in order to quicker find old presentations It would also be great if I could color code sections in order to distinguish different types of sections Yes the app can be a little daunting because it has so many options but for me it is just perfect                     Best app for professional presenters JazzCode

I love this timer and use it frequently I searched a long time for a timer that would help me end on time regardless of when I started I present at conferences where I have to make up time for other speakers I ve also used it with panels and the other panelists have always been impressed I only have two minor complaints 1 there are many options so you have to read the manual to understand how to use it for your needs 2 the actual time is displayed fairly small It is fine on an iPad but hard to read on a tiny iPhone screen I strongly recommend this app for anyone who presents regularly                     Nothing else like it Ericakfhsuebd

I heard about this app from a friend and use it while teaching every day It keeps the pace of your lessons moving and really helps you stay on schedule and cover everything you need to It takes some getting used to at first because it doesn t lie about how slow you re moving But the pause button is great if you need to spend more time on something I wish it had an account that would sync between your devices But the export function allows you to transfer the files via email easily                     Great app for teaching Fgdyfytg

I tend to be habitually late so I was looking for an app to keep me on target in the morning This fits the bill perfectly I created sections for things I need to do to get ready so I can see when I m getting off track before it s too late                     Great Blue vapor

I ve been using this app daily for about 18 months but unfortunately the developer keeps adding complication while avoiding fixing bugs and adding essential features Now when a timer ends you have to push two buttons it asks you if you want to log it and then if you want to restart it This restart question is mind boggling to me I m not sure who continuously runs these timers but anyway these could both be global settings Different color schemes are a pretty essential missing feature The bright red and green have relatively low contrast for quickly checking the progress of the timer and there should be a dark night mode Imagine how much light this would throw up at it you during a dark slideshow presentation The most obnoxious bug is that whenever daylight savings time shifts you have to delete and rewrite every scheduled timer because they get permanently off I ve been through 3 DST changes now it s very annoying             Going in the wrong direction BobFalconi

This app is perfect for running my courses save for the UI A little flat this IS the iPad after all but the concept and code are Excellent I d love to see a little dimensionality to the GUI and an ability to customize the palette especially the background black and maybe a menu of different color combinations for the clock face All told great app Let s my students see where we are and where we re going without the ticking time bomb feeling most timers give you                     Excellent Torin Hill

Adaptable and flexible tool for a lot of things but I like it for the circuit training Adding exercises is as easy as modifying the whole routine Creating other circuits is equally simple The logs help me keep track of my training                 Great for circuit training @radican001

It s good app very functional definately useful I am using this for guitar finger exercises It s not perfect it s on an iPhone don t expect perfection I start my performance then exit out and start a metronome Push notifications pop up with the audible click at the end of each section to tell me it s time to switch exercise It s a hammer on pull off exercise I read about on Steve Vai s web site The pop ups are annoying they stack up until they each are cancled and they stop the visual display of the metrnome but thats an iPhone issue not an issue if you drink the koolaid The stop dosent end a performance If you don t want to continue a performance to the end you have to swipe to get to the end or your notifications will continue until done So it needs some more controls A stop that ends the performance would be nice options on sound would help such as volume mute different tones option for push notifications on off                     Using It For Music Training rascalydoo

It is a good apps for timing in many ways I kind of wish there were more colors to choose from other than green and red And the letters showing a current event in the circle are most likely out of the circle and i think it would be look nicer if it were top of the screen to make the timer look cleaner personal opinion I hope most of reviews by others would be updated soon also Thanks for this great app by the way                 more colors and graphic work jamesbond777

I love the app and it will be VERY USEFUL when I m doing my seminars There are a couple things I d like to see added that would make it perfect 1 I would like to be able to enter the time minutes for the alarm and multiple alarms 15 minute warning 3 beeps 10 minute warning 2 beeps times up one long beep This way I wouldn t have to keep looking at the app to see how much time is left 2 Push notifications Instead of having to keep the app running or constantly looking at it how about the ability to setup the alarms as Push Notifications with optional sound badges alerts etc 3 Lastly and this is a little one but I like how I set a start time for the day How about the OPTION of setting the actual time of day for each section As it stands now I have to do the math and say that this section is 60 minutes or 75 minutes etc If I could just enter the start times as per the schedule I d be done                     Great App needs a couple more things though TerryWhite

Great way to visually represent a running time schedule Set the individual pieces of the prezzo using either a floating or absolute start time A moving circular clock keeps track giving a quick visual representation of where you are over all as well as in each segment Great for running a presentation an awards event or any kind of timed happening Especially like that along with visual representation running timers show total run time time remaining time over or under for a given segment and time under or over overall I ve made it found a lot more complicated than it actually is A couple of nits I m sure will be fixed in the next rev 1 it s too easy to brush up against the screen and pause the clock not great if you re constantly slipping your iPhone in and out of your pocket It would be great to have a pref that disabled multi touch display when clock is running 2 would be great if app could keep the iPhone awake whenit was running so I didn t have to keep hitting the home button                 A better way to count time down webslog
