I have a Garmin 450t and would love to be able to use this with my iPhone 5 Awesome idea though Great idea Wish it worked with more than one series
Wont connect to Garmin Epix Wont Connect
Because it hasnt done a thing for me It wont sync my fenix scans away for it but can never pick it up even when side by side Uninstalled and reinstalled but no bueno Has a cool opening graphic but thats all Ive seen it do At least Strava works well with the fenix unfortunate Garmins software wont work with their own product Whats this supposed to do
downloaded it wont open waste of time doesnt work
This could have been a great app if it had allowed me to transfer full gpx files from my iphoneiPad to the Oregon 600 As it stands I can only open a gpx file to show waypoints coordinates alone if I want to go through the trouble of selecting each waypoint I want to transfer Seriously There is not even an option to check all Since the handheld units that work with this app also support geocaching it seems incredibly shortsighted not to allow basecamp to put the full gpx file into the garmingpx folder I have kept it on my phone for much too long hoping for an update to provide greater functionality No direct GPX transfer
Wont pair with my Edge Mega expensive bike computer doesnt work with their own app Useless
I have a Montana 650t Could you please make this app compatible with it Its your best outdoor GPS and I was extremely disappointed that its not yet compatible with Basecamp mobile How About the Montana Series
A great app with my Oregon 650 Synching and transfer of data is a breeze as is mobile data transfer of waypoints and tracks to cloud storage Will come in very handy for field work and data organization Earlier critical reviews must be from earlier versions Great Functionality
Not compatible with the iPhone 4s garbage Betaware
This app does sync data from my fenix to the garmin cloud storage Thats it There is no way to export email share or otherwise use the data I cannot upload this data to Garmin Connect to actually use it If theres any editing capabilities here beyond changing the name of something I cant find them Overall looks like they spent about a week throwing something together so that people would think the functionality existed when buying their device There is no way this is a basecamp mobile Barely Does Anything
I am hoping Garmin is waking up I have found over the years they are archaic in thinking and outrageously horrible updating their maps This might be a great app if it had more features I have 542 waypoints on cloud and can only single out one by scrolling No search box or anything Get with it Garmin Google could crush you if they came out with GPS hardware other than cell phones tablets etc Potentially a great App
Will not connect to my Fenix 3 Garmin is great at hardware terrible at software Unacceptable Leaving this review at 1 star until problem is resolved Doesnt connect
and my fenix 3 wont connect to the basecamp app why not 680 later
Why doesnt work with Montana series Montana
Garmin is a solid company Over the years they have produced some great products This one is not their best work but I have faith they will sort it out A solid company
I had thought this app paired with a Fenix would be awesome There is no offline maps which makes it nearly useless on the trail Perhaps a paid app with more functionally for the Fenix Could be so much better
This app couldnt find my foretrex Its garbage Wont work
I have an older Iphone and now I can use most apps Please make this compatible with those who have a perfectly fine Iphone 3gs MIght be great if I could use it on my older phone
BaseCamp Mobile was working for a while but now it immediately shuts down on startup When it was working it was nice to be able to create waypoints and instantly have them show up on the fenix but there should be a function to search for locations rather than zooming and panning the map to find the waypoint you want to create and you should also be able to create routes from the app rather than having to do it on the watch after youve created waypoints from the mobile app Crashes
I cant even get past the login screen on this app I put in my correct Garmin user ID and password and it says it cant connect to Internet even though everything else on this phone can Not worth the time and data it takes to download Pure crap Wont even log in
More user friendly Looks like garmin is finally starting to take notice how apps are used as much as the products themselves New update better
No import of file will not see any device Mobile NOT wont work off line Deleated Waste of time
Works but could be so much better with added features Would be nice if you could email tracks from your iPhone synced to fenix Add tracks to fenix from iPhone So much more could be added Works but could be way better
My iPad sees the fenix device however it doesnt sync Doesnt sync
The fenix works good with this app I like the idea that I can change names or delete waypoints and the fenix is updated as well I have the app on my iPhone and really like the satellite view of my tracks I have noticed that once in awhile when I make a delete the app shuts down That is the only problem so far Works good
It doesnt work with my Rino 655t or see the information saved on my Base Camp on my Mac Bummer Rino 655t
The current app is unable to find my fenix 3 Fenix 3
Spent 500 on a Montana now Garmin wants me to get another GPS to run this ap sorry Another reason just to use your smart phone Montana
Not sure how an app can supplement a device Fēnix3 that it cannot connect with Really Really
Works OK if you are not signed in to your Garmin account The second you try to sync it crashes Could be a great tool if it worked as advertised Ive paid thousands of dollars for my Garmin devices Sure would be if I could use them as advertised Garmin Please Fix This
Works good with Oregon 650 I had no problem syncing to the Garmin cloud I would like the ability to forward the GPX file to Google Earth and the Apple email app in the next version No problems
Will not connect to 650 GPS Connect
App sees my new fenix2 but wont pair with it Phone pairs fine but neither base camp nor Connect will pair Wont Pair
Need to be able to view tracks and waypoints in google earth or be able to load birdseye or topo maps onto mobile app Without detailed map on the app fenix is just a novelty but could be so much more basemap is crap
Great companion app to the fenix But this could be so much more Latest version 11 fixes the crashing issues
Would be nice if this worked with my 450t Would be nice to send points from my Phone 450t support
Crap Crapiddy dap dap
More features should be added Ability to save the track for example permanently on iOS Iphone 5 user Work well but
Junk I need to upload my Oregon 600 TCX files to Garmin Connect and then to Strava Wakeup Garmin developers add this feature to this app or to the device to Connect app supported devices list The only missing function copy TCX data to Google connect
This app needs the ability to upload a set of coordinates from my phone to my device Seriously garmin What would you say this app does exactly if not that Not acceptable
Does not even work with Fenix 3 Garmins flagship GPS watch Very disappointing Does not support Fenix 3
Wont pair with any Garmin product I own essentially useless Skip this
Ive added several waypoints and when it syncs to the cloud it just deletes them from my phone The only waypoints I have on my Fenix are the headquarters for Garmin Maybe I can find my way there and ask why their apps are so bad Total pice of junk
A feature request for dropbox api support in BaseCamp Mobile able to talk to Dropbox to transfer gpx files between other iPhone apps such as geosphere and dropbox Support apple api that open gpx files with other applications Dropbox api and gpx file support
Until Garmin sets up this app to sync with the Garmin GPS software it is next to worthless It is a start to what could be a great app Come on Garmin let us sync the bad camp software to the iPhone Garmin GPS software Worth anything
It worked terribly I tried signing in failed I tried scanning my device failed Id have rather shot myself in the foot than download this app Horrible
I own garmin Zumo 665 Its connected to my iPhone 5 61 and ipad 4 61 Bluetooth but for some reason the app itself can not connect to either of my iOS devices even though its connected Booooooooo Wont sync
Was working with the older Fenix 2 Cant work with the Garmin Top Product Very sad Not working with Fenix 3
If you could only use with pinch function I would rate 2 stars Install basemap on your computer and enable cloud Your computer waypoints will be in this app and have linked seamlessly with my Fenix Works
I was able to download tracks and photos from the Cloud storage but not waypoints Cannot get it to sync with Garmin Monterra either Wont sync waypoints
