I downloaded app after it was named 1 on top5 CNET podcast Tried to use conversions to teach my kindergartener about measures They are way too imprecise couldnt set numeric value only dials The biggest issue is EVERY 5 sec a popup to buy or review or something Well here is my review I am deleting after I finish this Recommended by CNET disappointment
Really well designed clean interface Tried all the tools previewed the sections surprisingly useful for a free app Very Useful
All the measurement conversions are wrong There are not 10 feet In a meter Nor are there 95 cups In a Pint FAIL
I like the conversion The lacking part I quickly found was running in background seems to just mean you must keep the app open Able to browse the app But if you go to view another app or do another task not on this app you will not hear an alert to let you know the time is up Truly hope an update fixes this so it truly runs in the background Havent tried letting the cell do its snooze yet to see if the alerts will work On the to do list soon Awesome the timers Just let me back out of the app to maybe read a recipe online or on another app But could be five star

I think this can be a very helpful app for any chef to be or cook at home I would say it would be helpful for the convertor to be written in instead of just turning the dial can be hard to get that exact number you want to convert I also wish I knew how to pay for a adfree version less popups when using Maybe pronunciation for more terms than just the mainly French terms and uncommon equipment Im able to get most however a few still trip me up Otherwise helpful resource for any home kitchen Great app some fixes

Making instant coffee is the extent of my gourmet cooking I can also make ice cubes if I follow the recipe This app is great for people like me Simple informative well designed Wow
The timers must have been designed by a 3year old They do not start with the value you set and the act of setting makes you painfully start with 18 Hours Who sets a timer for 18 hours Useless timers

No way to turn off the sound so I deleted the app Turn off sounds
Ugly Liquid conversions completely wrong makes all conversions dubious and the app only supports portrait mode making it useless if your kitchen iPad stand prefers landscape Useless

Just looked up the number of tbsp in a cup and the app tells me its four instead of sixteen Not very useful if it gets a simple conversion like this wrong Not Accurate
This app has nice features However I cant figure out how to turn off the annoying sounds Cant find an inapp menu to do so and cant so so through phone settings I will have to delete if I cant turn off the sounds Handy
Pretty app but the first conversion I tried tbsp to cups which keeps confusing me when I measure butter is hilariously wrong I am pretty certain there are not 3 tbsp in a cup Conversions not involving cups seemed ok but now Im going to have a hard time trusting any of them Broken conversions

Im a little disappointed in the app It seems to aspire to greatness while falling short For instance there is a entry for punk lady apples which might lead you to believe there is an entry for other apples But try to find the honeycrisp and youre out of luck Also lacking is alternative names There is an entry for ocean trout that is very good but it does tell you that it is also known as steelhead The Seafood Watch app from Monterey Aquarium is far more excellent in this regard I dont think Ill keep it its not what I was looking for Might be okay for some but not intuitive at all Too bad
i just downloaded this app and i really think its going to come in useful ive been cooking for awhile and there are still things im discovering about cooking just going through this i think would be useful for new cooks and not so new cooks i really think im going to get a lot of good out of this just downloaded
This is a really neat helpful app Converters are accurate and what I browsed of the glossary everything is correct Helpful app
