This app has been very useful to me in finding and helping me fix some corruption that occurred when I switched from iPhoto to Photos A note about the deleting issues that people mention you need to follow the onscreen prompts of Duplicate Photo Finder on how to delete the photos from Photos Otherwise if you just hit your delete key on your keyboard all that will happen will be that the photos will be removed from the album they are in but not from your library That is standard Photos behavior Works great deleting is a user problem not software Jess the Mess Ryan
It found the duplicate photos just fine marked them all for delete automatically it sent them to a trash photosweep album deleted photos from there but the duplicates still show up so it was not helpful Didn t work to delete LoriLoriLori111111
Worked very well for its intended purpose The reviewer that stated it didn t delete any photos probably didn t mark the photos to be deleted worked great DontWantNicknameaaa
Did an amazing job finding duplicate photos but would not delete the doubles I ran this program several times did the auto delete and the photos came back the next time I ran it So I ran the programe and tried to manually delete them to no evail as the photos returned I spent hours on two occasions doing this no luck I emptied my trash of 39 000 photos and they were back again next time But it found the duplicates easily just couldnt delete the doubles so it really didnt do as promised not a huge fan Sandi Songs

This seems to be just a demo app for PhotoSweeper paid app Found duplicates but only a limited number from my library and it didn t remove them Don t waste your time with the app Finds limited number of duplicates but does not remove Bones:(
