This is pretty much exactly as I hoped it would be a simple easy to use app that tests your knowledge of note names all over the fretboard Of course it could be improved as other reviews point out but for a free app it s not half bad as a tool for a productive practice during lunch on a dirty construction site where I work and wouldn t dream of bringing in even my travel guitar So now how about an app that asks you to build chords on a digital fretboard Select the notes and you score points for building the requested chord                 Great Way To Practice During Lunch Hard Hat Poet

Like some other reviewer said this app is like flashcard studying the notes on the fretboard It s very effective I can already name the notes much more quickly now and I haven t had the app for very long I gave it 4 out of 5 stars though because I wish it played out the note when you tap it so you could get some ear training in there as well instead of it being just a silent app Helpful little app though                 Helpful for Note Naming but Also Wish it had Sound Ashley Ti
