10x better than safari I use it mainly for its fast performance ability to sync bookmarks across all devices Apple Windows and totally worth it                 Love this browser

This is a horrible app They pretend to offer a trial which can be cancelled in the settings menu but there is no such option Dont waste time our money     tacular

Used to be nice Bad choice to charge monthly for a service that pro users had already paid for and at the same time Apple allows ad blocking in Safari Bye bye     Oh well

I bought Murcury Pro 2 years ago or so and now I have to pay for premium to get ad block Thats BS     Bunk

The ad blocker that was free is now an insane 2499 after the exceedingly strange change to the developer and account issues over the summer Yeah they wanted your bank account transferred to theirs Do yourself a giant favor and cough up a onetime 199 for iCab Mobile an endlessly customizable browser with over three hundred free ad blockers modules filters data storage links and the slickest backup and syncing Ive ever seen All this and great tech support too I am not affiliated with the iCab Mobile developer in any way Bye bye Mercury     Bait and Rob the User

WATCH OUT If you get the pro version which will appear to be free to download you will be billed 26 that renews yearly to use the browser You cant cancel the automatic renewal unless you contact them and they never answer based in China Oh and they are on the list for Xcode Ghost virus that just hit the news So yeah you should probs delete restore whole phone and change passwords Sweet     Good browser shaddy practice

I cant believe they have pulled the rug from under their existing customers and switched to a subscription model leaving past users who paid for the app in the dust As said in a former review they are professional scam artists     Ripoff

As others have noted app was taken over by a different developer who does not respond to anything paid features are now a recurring inapp purchase was reportedly infected with XcodeGhost malware no update     So much for that

This app was published by a developer Lucy Ding who we were told is an actually a developer for iLegendSoft the original app publisher Now Id be willing to believe that except the app developer has gone completely silent on its social media after the transfer and still is as of this review Some reviewers have said that the transfer was more akin to theft with Lucy Ding taking control of the app and all the social media And the reviewers are in the right for thinking so iLegendSoft has said NOTHING to dispel these rumors The rumors are backed by Mercurys sudden decision almost immediately after reappearing in the app store amid a confusing and poorly explained disappearance to begin charging for an adblock feature Mercury will now charge you 2 a month Two things wrong with this adblock is free on universally every browser Mercury Pro users had already paid for the adblocking feature There is absolutely no reason for any browser to charge for adblocking It is free on everything from Safari to Atomic to iCab iLegend is offering a basic service at a premium price I wouldnt trust these developers with my emails let alone my money I havent tried the new adblocking features but from what Ive read by other reviewers they dont offer what they advertise either The app itself is still solid and works on a great foundation but given the shadiness behind the scenes I wouldnt recommend this app to anyone Only use it if youre willing to forgo having adblocker please dont give these people your money Id strongly recommend iCab or Maven if you need an advanced browser that offers the same features as Mercury I hope that the developer gets its act together and doesnt let a good browser become another Atomic browser that never gets updated Until then Id be very cautious with this browser        Secrecy Distrust and Expensive Adblock Scam

So with your Ghost malware you know about my network and strangely I have a number of Chinese attackers trying VPN access on my l2tp server for weeks now Thanks Mercury I had a feeling your apps return was odd now I know that I should not have trusted it     Now I understand the weird vpn attack

I love this browser Many settings are just a menu away Compatible with the majority of sites Great over all                 Great browser with multiple settings

Ive used Mercury Pro for over 2 years and already paid for Adblock and other features Now they have changed to a monthly subscription service just to use Adblock I will not pay again for the same service There are many other alternatives such as Dolphin browser and even Safari Also with iOS 9 you can use an extension that blocks ads directly in Safari Its called Crystal and can be downloaded in the App Store free Dont waste your money on Mercury     Dont trust the developers

iOS 9 didnt keep the function of being able to open a ppt or anything els for that matter directly from a new tab This gives you that option I dont like the offers to improve the performance or go add free then trying to make you pay for it but at least it works           iOS 9 forgot to include the open in function in safari these guys didnt

Look Ive been using Mercury for years Im used to it I hate change I paid for the Pro version But I am NOT ever going to pay 24 a year for Adblock And without Adblock this browser is increasingly useless to me My favorite web page is Saloncom Try reading or even loading that sucker without Adblock I know the ads are Salons choice not yours but I can still read it infinitely faster in Safari or other ad blocked browsers Plus it crashes Mercury about every 5 page loads as does Amazon As I say Im used to Mercury I love the features My bookmarks are all here But I spent two hours this morning testing different browsers and Im switching Oohupdate after playing around all day Ive found that iCab Mobile is a lovely fully customizable browser Even more so than Mercury plus only 2 TOTAL for adblocking Works really well so far     Come on

Thanks for adding the background downloading feature as we requested earlier but it costs more money Come on ad blocking is ok for in app purchases but back grounding downloading too Please make it free           More money for background downloading too

Used to be my favorite browser It had great features and I gladly bought the premium version as a ONE TIME purchase Now they changed it to be astupidly expensive for a common mobile app subscription service and Im being denied the features I PAID FOR so they can try to squeeze a subscription out of me Why would they expect anyone indulge this kind of BS when there are so many alternatives So congrats Mercury now Im a Dolphin user Not quite as feature rich but close and preferable to being dicked around with     Free market fail

Is there a hiccup I like aspects of Mercury but when I try to search there is what appears to be a stutter It takes what seems a long time to load I have repeatedly deleted the app thinking it was bc my app was corrupted Can this be addressed As noted Mercury looks good otherwise           Is there a hiccup

With the new iOS 9 update Safari lost the open in function Mercury is the only app Ive been able to find that allows me to download PowerPoint files into notability and other note taking apps Lifesaver when it comes to classes                 Power points

This app is one of 39 apps still in the App Store infected with the XcodeGhost So if you have noticed the app performing strangely and loading slower than normal delete it I doubt this company will update it seeing as they only bought the right to the app after the original company made there money and didnt want to continue with updating it I had contact the new developer when the switch happened via email I got that story from them Seeing there a Chinese based company they look for cheap and fast And dont care about the people who download there garbage        This app is infected w the XcodeGhost

The app does not do what it says No download in background The download will stop as soon as you switch to a different app Complained to Apple but Apple does not take any action Remember this will cost you 20 once you choose to subscribe     Do not buy

This is the most disturbing thing to bring back an old favorite under new ownership in which the owners are not supporting this app correctly I find that Apple allows them to keep this app in the App Store appalling First off they make a free feature that was listed in the rerelease a paid feature without telling users in the updatepatch notes Then they run an infected app on the App Store as well as not fixing the issue in which they may be the cause of the issue Lastly they have obvious Paid app reviewers This goes against apples terms and conditions this developer should be banned promptly As well as this infected garbage removed from the App Store ASAP DO NOT TRUST POSITIVE REVIEWS NOR DOWNLOAD THIS APP YOUR DEVICE WILL BECOME INFECTED     Dishonest scam thieves

I have to be honest its a great app Ive been using it for a little over a year but to have the issues that it had one removed from the app store and then for you to come back and try to charge people a one time 23 99 fee is unethical and Bad business practice Whether or not youre at is a great app the people behind the app and theyre shady practices is the reason for my rating Apple Please remove this app how good it is shady business     Where is the zero star rating
