From tiny Mercury to distant Neptune and Pluto, this interactive guide to the planets from Astronomy Now magazine takes you on a tour of our Solar System and beyond. The tallest mountains, the deepest canyons, ...
Surprised this app has not been reviewed because it is rather good Ive used it to take my students on a perfunctory virtual tool of the planets Granted it doesnt offer all the bells and whistles of some of the more expensive planet apps but the pictures tables panoramas as well as some built in flyby videos make it worth the download and the cheap price The developers appear to make sure that the app is always updated with the most recent data and planetary missions probes but make sure the text is all consistent The main page of Saturn has the most recent natural satellite count but the next page uses an older number An oversight like that may make buyers question what else may be incorrect Regardless I cant nitpick too much because the app is very well done worth the money and really delighted my class with the wonderful pictures and insightful information I think this app has been overlooked by the multitude of other planet apps and is priced correctly                 Nicely done and useable as a teaching tool
